About
Short Biography
Hadir Abdelmoneim Bassyouni was born in Alexandria (Egypt) and earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Alexandria University in 2013. After graduation, Hadir has worked as a teaching assistant for 3 years in the Department of Irrigation Engineering and Hydraulics at Alexandria University. While helping in teaching different hydrology courses, Hadir has completed her diploma in water resources engineering in 2015. In 2018, Hadir earned a Master of Engineering degree (non-thesis program) in hydrology. Hadir pursued her Master of Science (thesis track) under the supervision of Dr. Hossam Moghazy. Hadir worked on her thesis to evaluate several satellite precipitation products and their hydrological applications over the Eastern Nile basin.
